The permanent guardians of the Tyrian Capital are the Tyrian-born Eternal Guard. They are an 8,000 strong company of natural born Tyrians recruited directly from other mercenary units. Their barracks in on the outskirts of the city, just beyond the Onyx Gate, but they maintain several posts within the city itself to help maintain civil order. They specialized in urban warfare.
